What is the standard turn around time for orders?

Your order can be delayed depending on your approval of artwork placement, wrong file requirements or delayed responses pertaining to your order.

What are your custom services?

DIRECT TO GARMENT (DTG) PRINTING

Uses an all-digital process to inkjet print onto a garment or merchandise.

DIRECT TO GARMENT (DTG) PRINTING WITH WHITE

Prints a white layer as a “primer” on darker garments, then adds colored inks on top of the primer.

DIRECT TO TRANSFER (DTF)

Direct To Transfer is printing your design directly onto a film using an inkjet printer and then transferring it to a blank garment made of cotton, polyester or blends.

SCREEN PRINTING

The process of using a screen to apply ink on the printing surface. Each color is applied using a different screen to achieve the final product. The more colors for the design means the more screens that are need which has more setup time required for the process.

EMBROIDERY

Embroidery is the craft of decorating fabric or other materials using a needle to apply thread or yarn of different colors.

GRAPHIC DESIGN

We offer graphic design for logos to use for your brand, event, charity or any situation for you. We can also remake a design. A form can be sumbitted with the requested information listed. You will receive a response within 1 day.

How do I customize products?

You can customize products by selecting Start Product Customization in the top navigation bar, the bottom footer below any page or after you select a product.

What are the print file requirements?

Open Your Closet does not charge for file or art setup if the required file requirements are uploaded.

SVG file work because it allows us to re-size artwork without losing quality. We'll be able to size the file to your liking as long as you upload a file with 300 dpi which is PNG, PDF and JPG).

What is the required resolution for files?

The required resolution for files is 300 dpi minimum and 600 dpi for highest quality print.

Can we help with my artwork edits?

We do offer services for resizing, converting files and recreating files for high-quality results.

Shipping

When will my order ship?

Your order will ship 1-3 days after you have received a confirmation email that your order has been completed.

What are your shipping courier options?

You have the option to choose the shipping couriers listed below with the delivery options offered depending on your location.

Returns

How can I make a return?

You can send an email to info@openyourcloset.net to request a return.

Are returns free?

Returns are free with a shipping label from us. The customer is responsibe for keeping the original packaging or purchasing additional shipping equipment.

When will I receive my refund?

Please remember it can take up to 5-7 business for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. It depends on your financial institution.

How do I manage my orders?

Is there a minimum quantity requirement for placing orders?

No, there are no minimum quantity requirements when ordering through Open Your Closet.

How do I pay for orders?

You have the option to pay for orders using American Express, Apple Pay, Discover, Meta, Google Pay, MasterCard, PayPal, Venmo and Visa.

How do I resolve an issue with my order?

We are happy to work with you with issues with quality, color, or quantity, we'll work with you to ensure you are satisfied with your order.

We recommend choosing from our catalog of garments instead so we can guarantee your print quality.

DTF Transfers

4 Steps to Press Dtf Transfers

Position

  • Take your time and position your artwork in the desired print area.

Press

  • 100% Cotton: 300-315 degrees for 10-13 seconds.
  • Polyester/Blend: 300 degrees for 10-12 seconds.
  • 100% Polyester: 250 - 285 degrees for 3-8 seconds.

Cool & Peel

  • After pressing your DTF transfer onto the garment, let your transfer cool for a minimum of 15 seconds. Once the transfer feels cool to touch, left the transfer from one corner and gently peel back.

Final Press

  • Place parchment paper for to amount of time recommended for your fabric type.

Experiment with your heat press for optimal results.
